
A four‑day afternoon camp for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, hosted by Southside Support in Peachtree City, GA.
Camp Dates: Monday, July 13 – Thursday, July 16 2:00–6:00 PM
Families may choose the cost option that best fits their financial situation.

Camp Highlights
- Weekly themes include art, music, science, cooking, recreation games, petting zoo, karate class, and a water slide
- Dedicated counselors: paraprofessionals and teachers experienced in developmental disabilities
- Small group rotations every 30 minutes
- On‑site nurses for medical support
- Dinner provided daily
- Siblings welcome
Camper Eligibility
Participants must:
- Have a physical and/or developmental disability (including rare genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, etc.)
- Be entering 6th grade through adulthood
- Be able to remain with a group and function safely within a 1:3 caregiver‑to‑camper ratio
- Have no recent instances of elopement or wandering
- Tolerate transitions every 30 minutes, including moving between activity spaces
Participant Requirements
Participants must be able to:
- Engage safely in activities with a minimum staff ratio of 1:3
- Follow instructions with minimal prompts or redirection
- Participate without aggressive or harmful behaviors toward self or others
Medical Support
Our on‑site nurses are available for:
- G‑tube feedings
- Seizure management
- Toileting assistance
Other Important Information
Participants must be able to:
- Siblings are welcome
- Transportation is not provided
- Dinner is provided daily
- Daily snack/meal ingredients will be shared in advance
- Families may send alternatives if needed (no nuts)
- Campers are placed in groups of 8–10 by age and rotate through activities together
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome High School and Adult volunteers who want to support our campers and help create a fun, inclusive environment. Middle Schoolers may volunteer with the recommendation of his/her parent and Executive Director approval. Whether interested in serving Monday-Thursday or a partial shift, use the form below to indicate your interest!
- Siblings ages 13+ may volunteer
- Beta Club & NHS hours approved
- Volunteers rotate with camper groups through all activities
