Leigh Curry
joined Southside Support as
Executive Director in January 2023
After earning her master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina, Leigh worked as an Employee Relations Specialist and HR Consultant for over 15 years in Columbia, SC. In 2011, she and her family relocated to Peachtree City, drawn by the community's reputation as a great place to raise children. Today, Leigh and her husband Malcolm live in Fayette County with their high school son, while their older son is completing college and serving in the TN Air National Guard.
Over the past 14 years in Fayette County, Leigh has been an avid community volunteer, further expanding her professional skill set through roles in children’s ministry and as a licensed loan officer. Southside Support is thrilled to welcome Leigh as Executive Director, where she brings her business and financial acumen, combined with a compassionate heart, to serve our community of individuals with special needs.
Understanding that caregiving for a family member with special needs is highly demanding and oftentimes isolating, Leigh is passionate about fostering inclusive events and creating opportunities for education, support, and connection, so that this growing community never feels alone in their journey.
