DESCRIPTION:Join Southside Support to celebrate our amazing families at our 7th annual Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter’s Ball. This Southside Soiree is extra special this year, offering a fully catered sit-down meal, casino games, socially distanced dancing, beer & wine, entertainment, live and silent auctions and introducing our first ever Mad Hatter’s Contest, showcasing your custom hat designs. Participation can be in person or virtual.\n2020 changed a lot for us all, and we have taken extra measures to ensure your safety at this event, which includes the option to attend virtually. Temperature checks, COVID screening questionnaire, and masks will be required upon arrival. We are limiting to 100 guests this year for social distancing protocols. We have also put in place a contingency plan to postpone the event for an outdoor option during warmer weather if we deem the threat of exposure too great, or the CDC guidelines change. If you are unable to attend virtually, you can still participate in our silent auction ONLINE and make a donation in lieu of attendance.\nSouthside Support is a 501(c)(3) organization created to connect families and individuals living with special needs and disabilities in the South Metro Atlanta Area with valuable resources in our community and with each other. We do this through support, education and inclusion opportunities with programs like SNAZ (Special Needs Accommodation Zone), SNAP (Special Needs Alliance of Professionals), support meetups, informational webinars and our master list of professionals specializing in special needs accommodations and dedicated to inclusion and diversity.
